This place rocks.
Yeah theres lots of variety but that makes it unique and perfect for lunch or dinner on literally any occasion. Its nice enough for a date night but casual enough for whatever.  You’re sure to find something you’ll love.
The pasta is homemade and amazing.  The indian food, especially the tikka masala, and steaks are wonderful too. My girlfriend loved the risotto.
You can tell this place has a lot of pride in what they serve.
Great service. Easy parking. This place is seriously a hidden gem.

Saw this place while driving by to catch a movie and decided to come back some other time when we weren’t in a rush with the missus.
So a week later came back on our date night a little worried that we might not have a good experience but was soon put at ease.
The place has a great feel and atmosphere to it. Not overly or sparsely decorated. Feelings of a high classed restaurant but with a down to earth attitude.
We were quickly seated and were promptly attended. The waiter was very friendly and gave good recommendations. My wife ordered the chicken Caesar salad and I ordered the peppered steak. Both of which were cooked and made exactly to our liking.
The Caeser dressing was creamy and flavorful. The salad was fresh tasting and crunchy. No wilting lettuce or mushy ingredients. The chicken perfectly grilled and plentiful.
The peppered steak came with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. The steak was tender and grilled exactly how I like it. The sauce was creamy and complimented the steak perfectly. The mash potatoes had garlic seasoning that wasn’t overpowering. The veggies grilled but still crisp.
Definitely coming back and would recommend it.

Perfecto!! Amazing place! A hidden gem in South Gate with the best Kobe burgers in town! Service is excellent! A great place for lunch or a intimate dinner with your love ones! Music is the best!!

Came with a groupon, but it turns out that the yelp deal is even better.  Whoops.

I really like the set up.  The restaurant and bar have a nice rustic and contemporary mix.  When we were there, the background music was spanish guitar.  Nice relaxing feel.

We got the Kobe Burger and the Bacon and Fried Egg burger.  Both come with homemade chips, and we were provided with complimentary grilled bread.  My bacon and fried egg burger was very good.  The kobe burger was good, but not worth the premium.

If I have an opportunity to go again, I will.

Ok, so the name MT8848 is kinda funny, (and is something of a ghost town on Tuesday nights) but this is truly as good as it gets in South Gate and officially one of my new favorite spots xp

My bf and I arrived yesterday evening. The atmosphere is relaxing, lovely even. It was completely empty except for another couple that came in after us. There’s a nice assortment and choice of meals that are reasonably priced. I ordered the French Onion soup while he ordered the Maui Maui, both of which are very tasty.

The margaritas are very good, although there’s not too much alcohol in them. Our service was cool from beginning to end and everything was right on mark.

I’m kinda curious to see how it’s like during the weekend, but if you like to dine with a more intimate setting, try coming on a Tuesday.

I’m looking forward to returning :)

I came to this restaurant with my best friend last night. I love every aspect about it. The staff is very welcoming and the food, the food is beyond amazing! My best friend had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo pasta and I had the Pineapple Bacon Burger. We highly recommended getting both items and coming to this restaurant. I am definitely coming back.

I’m in love with this place.

Took my gf to dinner here. The food was tasty (we ordered the grilled mahi mahi accompanied with white rice and salad and some onion based soups.) and the atmosphere was pretty chill. The background music was mostly Latin but definitely fit well and the decor made it seem very relaxed but with a bit of class at the same time. The margaritas were pretty good and both the drinks and food were fairly priced. We were the only ones, along with one other couple, that were there on a Tuesday night so the service was on point and friendly. I wouldn’t be able to say the same about a busy night because, well, it wasn’t busy at all. Would definitely come back to this spot for another chill dinner/lunch.

After driving by this place for months we decided to give it a try.

The decor and ambience is quick nice.

The service was great and our waiter was friendly.

We orders the chicken Takki to start out our dinner.  We were both blown away how good it was.

For our main meal my husband had the seared breast chicken and he “loved it” (his exact words). I had the peppered steak and it was “awesome”….we were to full to have dessert.

We used their Yelp offer and we are glad we did.

The chef came by ofter our meal and asked how our dining experience was. How many restaurants do that in the SG area or Downey area…none.

Great food! Swing by you will be blown away.
